A private emergency system

The Watchdogmailer is a configurable service, that sends an email when there is no active respone during a defined time window.

The response will be given via a personal URL and after the response the timer starts from the beginning.

Possible use cases are:

• Vitality monitoring of a person living alone, similar to a home emergency call. The personal website can be used to reset the timer as well as to initiate an immediate emergency email.
• Outdoor adventurers on solo trips can initiate an automated emergency email if they have not reported back for a certain period of time.
• Services can regularly trigger the watchdog mailer and in case of failure the administrator is automatically informed or a restart of the damaged computer is triggered.

There are two types of emergency mails.

1. An immediate mail, which can be actively triggered by the person being cared for via the website. → (red button)
2. An automatically triggered mail if there was no response (sign of life) within the configured time window. →(green button)

After registering and configuring the service, the data for the URL of the personal emergency call page can be retrieved via the menu item "Personal URL with credentials".

Only this URL and the access data are transferred to the person receiving care and set up on their end device (PC, tablet, smartphone, etc.).

If the end device has location detection, the last reported location can be included in the mail.
